New Challenge

Posted by Hitorio - March 22nd, 2009

This new challenge is sound.
I suck at directing sound on Flash, and this cripples it massively.
I'm not sure how to overcome this obstacle, but I will find a way. I must.

hey i just watched cct2 and i browsed thru your wips and i noticed your challenge. and i thought about it and it seems your in the opposite boat as me. i can't animate complex things but i can sync sound its really wierd. i have flash 8 i was wondering if i could help u. hit me up on aim.

Damn...
I use Flash CS3; can't be imported onto a Flash 8 interface. I would have gotten Flash 8 if I'd found it anywhere, but I could not...so I'm stuck with CS3. Check out the quote under my profile image, it tells you what version I have. I'll still check ya out though :]

I'm sure we can find some way. Still I wonder if we should change or keep the name of CCT and make it more interesting. After all the whole series overall is Millenian war so we can always make it Millenian war: Tournament crisis as sort of a mini series.

Like how Lucas Arts has Star wars but they use stuff like Star wars: Knights of the old republic or other names to name there mini series.

Fact is we may need an interesting name.

aww and i would have gotten cs3 if it didnt have blue screen of death and the expensive price... i could of sworn flash 8 can be found free online somewhere but meh...guess when i save up i'll get it.

One thing you can do, is take the animation, and put it into windows movie maker, then do the audio work there. This will let you sync things pretty well, but I'm not sure if you can consolidate the audio portion of the movie project and make it into one audio file. I'm going to keep working on that one.

Hmm...wouldn't it then be imported as an .avi, forcing me to import the actual avi back onto Flash, decreasing the quality?
Hm...

Okay, as far as I can tell, you can't save the work as an audio file, and I can't seem to find a way to combine multiple bits of audio, or an audio timeline, into one file.
